Ingredients

  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 3/4 cup 1% low-fat milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon  white pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder 

Preparation

  1. Cut cream cheese into cubes.
  2. Mix cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, milk, butter, white pepper and garlic powder in medium saucepan.
  3. Cook on low heat until cream cheese is melted and mixture is well blended.

Helpful hints

  • Serve Alfredo Sauce over fettuccine or your favorite pasta. Sprinkle with nutmeg if desired.
  • Other milk substitutes such as rice milk and almond milk may be substituted.
